ELVIS movie special screening at Graceland
On June 11, 2022, Elvis Presley’s Graceland hosted a special advance screening of Baz Luhrmann’s ELVIS movie. Along with the cast of the film, Priscilla Presley and Lisa Marie Presley attended as well as Elvis and Priscilla’s grandchildren: Riley Keough (age 33) and twins Harper and Finley Lockwood (age 13).

According to The Commercial Appeal, international reporters were invited to Memphis to interview the stars, take tours of Graceland and celebrate at a cocktail party with drinks like the “Pink Cadillac” (a mixture of tequila, lime juice, the orange-flavored Cointreau and hibiscus syrup).

Elvis Presley’s friends in attendance included former girlfriend, Dixie Locke Emmons, Jerry Schilling and record producer, Sam Phillips’ son, Jerry Phillips.
Star of ELVIS, Austin Butler, who is getting rave reviews for his meticulous portrayal of Elvis Presley, posed for pictures earlier in the day at the museum section of Graceland called Elvis Presley’s Memphis.
“I was quite young, but I still remember my father’s energy and his vibe,” said Lisa Marie Presley. “And Austin, he — what’s the word? — he nailed it.”
“In my life, it’s been one disappointment after another, in terms of people portraying my father,” she continued. “Bless their hearts, I’m sure they meant well.”
The next night, June 12, another special screening was held for Elvis fans at Graceland and the cast of the film returned unannounced along with Priscilla, Lisa Marie and Riley Keough.
